Dedication

RIGHT REVEREND MONSIGNOR EDWARD J. McCORMICK

This book is dedicated to our beloved pastor Monsignor Edward J. McCormick, His unselfish
devotion to the church and school has been a shining example of true Catholic Action, His
non-Catholic friends are innumerable and his charitable deeds have been felt by those of
all denominations in the entire community.

We, the Senior class, know that any success we may attain in our future, will be largely
due to his fine teaching and example.

e, the seniors, have chosen as our patroness the Immaculate Conception, most precious of
all Our Lady's titles. Aided by her loving care, may we live by our Catholic principles
and in the trials of life conquer iniquity.

Our class colors, blue and silver, symbolize the perfect truth and sterling qualities of our
Catholic faith. May our flower, the white gardenia, reflect the beauty of our souls.
Throughout life we shall uphold our motto:

We shall pass this way but once Any good thing that we can do, or kindness that we can show any

human being, let us do it now and not defer it. For we shall pass this way but once.
